We had a fun time last night, I will post up some great photos and details in a few hours. For now we are heading to Saigon Railway Station to head for Phan Thiet on a new German funded train which takes approx four hours. Then we will take a 20min taxi to Mui Ne.

Evan has already decided it is going to be the biggest train in the entire world, even bigger than our hotel hallway and it is going to be red (none of us have seen it yet so I hope it is red, haha).

This photo is from an outdoor restaurant we ate at last night next to the market, jammed packed with locals. We had freshly squeezed strawberry juice, beer, bbq prawns, bbq meats, bbq squid, bbq meatballs, garlic stir fried spinach, glass noodles with crab meat, etc. Cost - $10 Cdn. I think I'm still full from it and we ate 10hrs ago.

Gotta run, will post more in a while.

Hi Jack,

Love Victoria, I was posted there for three years in the late 80's. Our family spent 10 days out there in Jan of this year unfortunately as you know it hammered down rain every single day we were there. Still, it's a great city!

You guys are going to love it here!!!
