While the cake was being moved to a suitable b-day moment area it slipped off the plastic cake plate and slid into first base via the cupboards, all the while unleashing it's sparling glory. Heeeeelarious. The kids? They were oblivious to the cake massacre since eating in someone's living room "picnic style" is far more interesting.

With seven kids running around M&M's place there was lots to take photos of. I really like the focus on Kai's hand in this photo.

When kids won't stay still, there's always something nearby that might make a good shot. The depth of field on this camera is so laser precise. On the flower closeup the only thing that is sharply focused is the lead portion of the flower's center, the beauty of F2.8 apeture.
