I'm now registered. September 01-02 in Monterey, California. World Solo Championship. Age category 40-44 years old. Seven weeks till I put my toe on the line. Yaaaaaarrrggghhhhhh!!! ;-)
YEAH!!!Get 'er done!Congrats, by the way, on your 8th finish. I know it's not a podium, but it's impressive nonetheless, especially with a 4 hour layover in the tent...
Yeah is right!!!! ;-)Thanks Peter, I was over on your site about an hour ago and was going to leave a comment on the Novo you are enjoying. We are heading out of town for a week to go camping and even though I just finished roasting up 1.5lbs I think we will have to detour by Phil and Sebastian's to get a Clover of that tasty morsel. Hope they are Clover-ing it.
Hey Shaun..just came across your blogg by accident..Having competed in the 24hrs in a 5 man, I can (kind of) appreciate what you must have gone thu...good luck with the worlds...I'll be following the story
5-man teams are a blast! I have done three of them in the past and it was a tough decision to not do it again this year with my riding buddies. Still, I'm glad I went solo, it was a fantastic experience and my riding abilities increased exponentially. I would recommend it to everyone because I really believe anyone can do it if they put their mind to it and the rewards are worth the hard work. Thanks for the good luck with World's, I'll probably need it. ;-)
