This morning as I was setting up a load of Amaro Gayo I was thinking about all the funny little traditions that occur at this time of year.

For example, earlier this evening the kids went out to the front lawn to sprinkle some oatmeal and sparkly metal flakes on the snow so the reindeer can find our house easier, and also have a snack while they are waiting from Santa. That one comes courtesy of a school project they did a couple of weeks ago. Of course the other classic is leaving out cookies and milk for Santa so he too can have a snack.

Here's the boys just before heading off to bed a few minutes ago. They are pretty excited for tomorrow morning so I guess all the little traditions are worth it.

It's good to be a kid.
